This garage makes use of a skillion roof, large roller door and sleek clean flashings to give a modern look. Its less of a “sheddy” feel and more of a garage / studio look. The use of the hugely popular colorbond colour monument sets the whole thing of nicely. (monument is definitely the colour of 2020)

The approval of this garage really shows off First Sheds development expertise in the Canberra market. We were successfully able to put a case to ACTpla for why this block should be allowed to deviate from the standard set of rules and achieve a 1n exemption notice. This allowed the shed to be approved as DA exempt and saved the client thousands of dollars in application fees as well as months and months of waiting.
