CUSTOM INDUSTRIAL SHED

First Sheds is Canberra’s leader when it comes to building and designing light industrial sheds.
This shed was specifically designed with the client to suit the requirements of their business.
The shed was designed as to accommodate 5m high industrial roller doors in order for the client to fit earth moving machines inside.
There are dual custom awnings on this shed with the front awning designed to house the same machinery parked in front of the shed and the rear storing smaller vehicles and equipment.

First Sheds handled the approval through QPRC for this shed. The block is situated in a E3 zoned area, meaning there a numerous hoops to jump through, including creating environmental management plans as well as designating the bushfire attack level (BAL) rating of the building.

Like our example project in Gundaroo, this is our light industrial model building. Included in the photos are shots of the frame. You will notice that unlike any other shed on the market our Ranbuild sheds do not have highly intrusive knee bracing extending into the building that reduce the clear overhead space. This is because these sheds are designed to be larger heavy duty buildings that don’t just upscale smaller designs. The strength in this building is in part from the knee and apex brackets which are folded AND bolted on the front, side and top faces of our columns and rafter. This is unlike many cheap sheds on the market which just use flat knee and apex plates that are then screwed together.

At 300sqm the shed has plenty of room for the clients business to expand into. The colorbond Jasper and Paperbark colour combination has been quite popular in rural areas in the past few years.
